Comments

This site does not take comments. The personal data we collect is what you give us when you create an account, place an order in the store, or send feedback from the Resource Center: your name and email address, and the name, leader, phone number and address of your church, campus or community club, and, for a store order, the address it ships to.

Media

You cannot upload images to this website; the images and files on it are placed there by Venture Clubs.

Cookies

When you ask for a password link, we set a temporary cookie for the page the link opens, so that the link only works in the browser that asked for it. This cookie contains no personal data and expires after fifteen minutes.

When you log in, we will also set up a cookie to save your login. Login cookies last for thirty days, and stop working after seven days without a visit. If you log out of your account, the login cookie will be removed.

If you add something to your cart in the store, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply holds what you put in the cart. It expires after thirty days.

Embedded content from other websites

Pages on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos from Vimeo), which loads only when you press play. Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Who we share your data with

Membership payments and store orders are taken by Stripe on Stripe's own checkout page, so your card details go to Stripe and never touch this site. Email from the site is sent through our email provider, which receives your address and the message. The site and its database run on Google Cloud.

How long we retain your data

For users that register on our website, we store the personal information they provide in their account. All users can see and edit their personal information at any time from their account page. Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

We also keep a record of sign-ins and sign-in attempts, with a hashed form of the IP address, to protect accounts.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have placed an order, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where your data is sent

The site is hosted on Google Cloud in the United States, and your data is stored there.
